After reading an article on the Diamond Guild of Australia’s newest ambassador, the beautiful Jessica Marais (from TV’s Packed to the Rafters, Legend of the Seeker, and Australian film Two Fists One Heart), the topic once again has been raised – why hasn’t Australian Opal got themselves an ambassador for Australia’s National Gemstone?
Someone like current Miss Universe Australia, Rachel Finch (who has previously one the Opal Bash in North Queensland) would make for a stunning ‘face of opal’. Australia does have a lot of talented, well-known female celebrities that would be perfect to promote opal.
