Way back in 1985, a couple with plenty of opal knowledge, and a dream to have Australia’s Gem Stone in everyone’s home, started a store in the small suburb of Glenview, on the Sunshine Coast.
Opals Down Under was born, and 30 years on, it is still going strong! Our clientele is constantly evolving, and we take great pleasure in seeing different generations enjoying this beautiful gemstone.
To celebrate our third decade, we will be looking at a few changes and a few surprises, so stay tuned to see what ODU can come up with!
