You may have noticed over the last 12 months that we here at Opals Down Under have been experimenting with new settings in the Sterling Silver range. Utilising a mix of Boulder, Black, and Crystal Opals in very modern, unusual settings, these pieces have been very popular.
We’ve had more new pieces just come through to us, most of which are on our website currently.
However, we’ve been wanting to experiment a little more with these pieces, so we thought we’d try our hand at some Hematite instead of Opal in the settings.
Obviously nowhere near as colourful, but we think you would agree that the natural ‘bubbly’ texture of this volcanic iron ore looks fantastic in the Silver settings.
